Why did I start this blog?

• I wanted to learn how to create a hugo theme
• I wanted to create a minimal, fast and privacy friendly theme
• I want to share my projects, learning results and knowledge with you
• I want my own plattform to write technical articles and my opinion

In what direction should it go?

I don’t really know yet. I’ll just get started. I have decided to write this blog in english, even though I am not a native english speaker. So deepl.com will be my friend.

Why is the layout of this website so minimalist?

In my opinion, most websites are just bloadware. There are ads, tracking, large Javascript libraries and animations everywhere. I wanted to concentrate on the pure content. For this reason, i tried to build a layout (hugo theme) without javascript, cookies, local storage and only a bit of css for basic styling. I am not a developer so maybe there are mistakes or better solutions. So, don’t hesitate to contribute on my hugo theme.
